Shiralea Resort - Haad Yao

The staff were very nice and organized group activities like yoga and workouts in the gym. The pool was perfect for chilling after a day of exploring. The vibe was friendly and fun, with great food options available. Don't miss the buffalo wings!

The room we chose was pretty basic, and the beds weren't super comfy, hard to relax after a long day.

The staff was cool and fantastic in all services.

Have stayed here many times and would happily return. The highlight was the FABULOUS food. My room was cheap and reasonably large with a safe as well as deep clean, truly enjoyed it. Location: the hotel was very close to the most beautiful beaches on Koh Phangan, the center of a dancing circle and shops and restaurants.

The warm hospitality from the staff was amazing, and I appreciated the large, clean shared bathroom, which was a great advantage during my stay.

Units with a too big bathroom

It was cheap, spacious and with a too big bathroom. The beach restaurant served a good choice of reasonably priced food.

The 8-bed dorm was spacious and comfy, though the noisy common area kept me awake.

Had a blast lounging by the pool and enjoying the jungle vibes. The food, especially the jungle curry, was great!

Fantastic place, great bungalows, great setting. Really close to the beach & in a nice area. The staff go above & beyond to ensure you have a great visit. The food is amazing. The chill out area is so cool, best place in Thailand. We extended our visit by three days and would have extended it more if we could have.

The vibe here is a total winner! I chowed down on the stewed partridge, a culinary delight. The place is super social with a chill open-air area that makes for epic hangouts. Plus, it's just 4 minutes to the beach!

The bathroom could use a bit of sprucing up-it's got that bungalow charm but feels a tad worn. Still, everything shines through with its laid-back atmosphere.

The value for money was excellent at this resort. The pool was great, the restaurant food was excellent and always hot and the staff were good. It was also great having the pool table and TV room.

It could be a bit noisy in the evening as the music from the bar/restaurant carried into the bungalows.

I loved everything about Shirley! The staff are good. The swimming pool is amazing. And it is also near Rasta Home, which is a really cool bar with the best cocktails. The barman at Shiralea Backpackers Joy is amazing! 10 out of 10!

A chill vibe with great activities

The atmosphere was lively and inviting with a fantastic outdoor gym and a pool to refresh after a workout. Staff were friendly as yoga sessions and transport to nearby beaches.

Unfortunately, the dorm beds felt a bit too firm. The bathrooms could also use better upkeep.
